Helical gear rotary actuators [B]

The Eckart HyRAV in combination with an UniteQ manifold is an excellent choice for your rotating bypass valve. The HyRAV is designed in accordance with the helical gear principle, one of the most advanced solutions for rotary actuators available on the market.

A bypass actuator can have three different functions, the open close, control and safety function. The most simplified actuator is the water inlet actuator, which only has a open close function. The water control actuator has besides the open close function, also a control function. UniteQ turbine bypass actuators can be designed with a separate 1oo3 redundant safety function, besides the open close and control function. In this way the system will meet the requirements of the pressure directive.

To reduce costs, bypass actuators can be designed with a hydraulic safety function instead of a mechanical safety function with spring package. UniteQ has a innovative hydraulic safety solution, that meets the requirement of the pressure directive and that has been validated by the TÜV.
