Steam test device

The steam test device is a safety system that protects the turbine against high steam pressure and/or temperature. The system measures the pressure and/or temperature in a steam pipe and compares it with preset values. When steam pressure and/or temperature becomes too high, the system will bring one or several actuators to their safe position, securing the turbine.

The steam test device is designed such that a function test can be performed during operation. This guarantees safe operation without any turbine down times.

UniteQ delivers these systems in accordance with the pressure directive, with the accompanying certificate, issued and tested by an accredited party.
